The croft is secluded and scenically situated by the lake about 1.5 kilometers of forest road from the farm. Here, a family lived permanently until the middle of the 1950 century. The family still has a family reunion here once a year with crayfish! On the veranda and in the garden there are furniture for beautiful evenings in the open air. To the lake and the jetty is about 75 meters. At the jetty is the sandy beach. There are also tables and benches with immediate proximity to the water. Sitting down at the jetty and listening to the lapping water while the sun descends gives a spiritual calm. A rowing boat is always included in the rent of the cottage but if you want to have your own boat, there are opportunities to launch smaller boats near the croft.

THE BARN AT ROPUDDEN

For larger groups, the barn at Ropudden can be opened up and used for accommodation, conferences, dinners, special occasions and get-togethers in the pub. The barn is located about 40 meters from the cottage. This makes it possible to increase the number of people that can be accommodated. The standard table setup has room for 30 people seated and there are xx additional seats in the pub.

To sit down by the pier and listen to the lapping water while the sun sets offers a mindful experience. A rowboat is always included in the rent, but if you want to bring your own boat it is possible to launch a small boat near the cottage.
